MacroOceans is a new biotech company whose mission is to get to a cleaner economy through the sustainable farming of kelp. Seen as a key ingredient for consumer products and food additives, their venture was motivated by a desire to keep ocean levels healthy and vibrant while finding alternatives resources to consumer manufacturing. We created their logo, brand ID, voice, messaging and website to reflect their mission as well as their passion for what they do and how they are going to make their impact in the world.

Cart.com were revamping their brand and the first block of that foundation were their brand guidelines. We designed and rewrote them in the form of a brand guide book that exuded their lively personality and obsession with brands through the book’s copy and design.

We wrote, directed, produced and edited a series of pieces that featured several employees of Inari talking about their culture, their people, and their ideas. These were social videos that began to introduce Inari throughout their social platforms and website. It started with "teasers" featuring employees and their personal stories which was then followed up by a 4-part series called which took a broader view of Inari's overall culture, mission and personality.

Once we created the Brand ID for Macro Oceans, their first public facing project would be launching their brand through a PR push supported by their website. Our role was to design and co-write the entire site from top to bottom. We designed a simple visual language through illustrations to simplify their story and processes. We Worked closely with the founders to create an informative yet simple site to help build their company and brand as they geared up for a bigger round of growth, production, content and funding.

We were invited to pitch the entire Argosy University brand/account but ultimately, it was too big of an assignment to be the initial fulltime client of GT+T. But they liked our thinking, strategy, presentation, work and ultimately us that they awarded us a project to rebrand their Graduate School of Behavioral Sciences.

Argosy University's GSBS program exists in the shadows of larger, better funded institutions. We had to help Argosy connect with and breakthrough to prospective students who saw Argosy’s program as less challenging as others. We approached this by throwing the challenge back to prospective students to achieve a career in Behavioral Sciences rather than promising them one. The result was an uptick in applications to the school and more projects for other campus work for GT+T.

Organic Nectars is a small creamery in Upstate NY that actually doesn’t use an ounce of cream in their products- they’re 100% vegan - and use cashew butter for their ‘cream’. Their original packaging was very informational, but with little aesthetic appeal or personality. They came to GT+T to explore rebranding and to help contemporize their look to stand out on the shelfs and in people’s grocery lists.

We developed an icon of the drip of nectar to represent the sweetness of their flavors to appeal to the sense of taste, while designing packaging and brand ID to appeal to the sense of sight. And finally, a brand personality to appeal to a sense of humor.

After working with Argosy University on their School of Behavioral Sciences campaign, we continued to work with them on several other projects for their different campuses and programs around the nation. These included banners, digital and traditional OOH and print across campuses promoting lectures, programs and campus awards.

FIEL, which translates into "faithful" in Spanish, is a small LA based brand of intimately designed footwear. They embody the Souther California vibe and lifestyle and they were looking to stand out amongst a vast wall display of SoCal footware. We worked with their owner and founder to figure out what ‘faithful’ means; faithful to whom and to what?

We breathed meaning into the ‘translation’ of Fiel to mean being faithful to friends, family, California, and above all yourself. We helped Fiel find their voice by defining all that they believe in with the first letter in their name.

While working with Inari on designing and preparing for the launch of their debut website, we created a series animated videos to help push out their brand beliefs onto their social platforms.

They also acted as the teaser campaign of the Inari’s personality as well as the look and feel of the site which would was planned for launching a few weeks later.

As part of the launch effort for Inari Agriculture, we created, wrote, directed and produced these brand films in tandem with the Inari employee films.

Titled “A New Horizon In Agriculture”, this series brought together some of the first employees of Inari to tell the larger view of what Inari stood for and why Inari would be leading the way towards the future of agriculture. We kept the attitude light, but the information enlightening.

Repertoire Immune Medicines approached GT+T to help brand their new immunology start up. Their work centered around activating our own bodies T-Cells to fight cancers and other threats to our immune system. Their name “Repertoire” refers to different sub-types an organism's immune system makes of T-Cell receptors (huh?). Our concept was to reduce all that to a simple design; the T-Cell where both halves of the design represent the two halves of Repertoire’s disciplines of Decode and Deploy.

We worked with them starting with brand identity and logo design as they planned their public launch. We worked closely with their founders and board members to arrive at their brand story and how the logo and brand ID should reflect the incredible research and work they were doing in the field of immunology.

In October of 2017, a small agtech start up out of Cambridge, MA contacted us to "revolutionize" the way ag companies communicate to the public. To breath some fresh new life into the category. “Big Ag” is dominated by brands, like Monsanto, are seen as evil. Hell, Hollywood even made a movie about it all (anyone seen "Michael Clayton"?) It was a big challenge for a small group like GT+T, but we had partners on the other side of the table who were as small and as eager to rise to it.

So we began collaborating with them to launch their brand. It was a true 'brand launch' beginning with working with their board of directors and management teams to work on their brand strategy, brand story. Soon, logo, letterhead, business cards even designing powerpoint templates followed. Ultimately, we introduced their brand and their messages out to the world through their first website ever that we wrote, designed, coded and developed.

We all know by now that insects can help save the world, but who’ll save the insects? Which should we consider “insects” and which are “pests”?

These were questions Invaio Sciences wants to tackle. And as a true start up, they had to start somewhere. They enlisted GT+T to design their logo and brand ID and develop a simple but engaging microsite to get their word out as they engineer their bigger launch strategies, content and plan to protect arguably the most important resource to the future of our planet.

The static logo was designed to take flight visually when scrolled on the screen - the slight V shape in the wings created the illusion of flapping wings.

These print/posters were designed for Argosy’s University’s Veterans Continuing Education Recruitment Program. This program was designed to give those vets who did not have a college degree - or who wanted to continue their eduction - the chance of getting another stripe on their resume.

After working with several Flagship Pioneering Companies with their logos, brand ID and websites, another company that Flagship Pioneering was launching and approached GT+T to create their logo and brand ID.

Integral is a pharmaceutical drug development and healthcare start up built around three principles to tackle the complications of healthcare: The right approach for the right patient with the right safety. Feedback loops were essential in making this possible. Our concept used the image of a feedback loop as the design to represent those three integrated brand tenants and to represent the E in the middle of their name.

From there, we developed the beginnings of their brand ID and how initial communications could integrate the design with the message that they were out to reform healthcare.

As the first part of of our larger Inari Agriculture collaboration, we designed their logo and accompanying brand ID materials including typography, colors, business cards - the whole 9 yards (or, in Inari’s world: acres).

Inari represents a new approach at sustainable farming, incorporating new technology and machine learning. We arrived at the theme of “A new day in agriculture” which led us to design a rising sun over the horizon as their logo. From there, they were able to launch their company and brand their seeds, farms, their research buildings at Purdue University and in Ghent, Belgium…and yes, even cookies.

One thing that’s truer now, more than ever, is that when the world comes together it helps us all. When we strive for a common goal and accept knowledge, insights, information and help from sources both expected and unexpected, it all makes for faster and further progress. That’s how Repertoire Immune Medicines approaches the problems they are attempting to solve; with the enlistment of minds everywhere for the benefit of patients everywhere. Their work in immunotherapy, decoding the power of our own T Cells to combat cancer and other disease of the world, takes the collaboration of those who have come to Repertoire whether as a doctor, scientist, a member of their Professors in Residence, Scientific Advisory Board, collaborators, partners, and each employee that comes to work everyday sharing the same vision: That cures reside in thousands of codes and in hundreds of minds. We designed an interactive website that started with their vision put in human terms before deep diving into a site that got cellular (pun intended!) on what they do

Interactive landing page greeted visitors giving them a high level view of Repertoire’s mission in an interactive “mini-festo”. The full site that we designed also featured interactive sections and graphic designs and can be viewed here.

Dailola Granola® began in Williamsburg, NYC, and is as hip as where it was started. Owner and founder Teresa Misagal wanted to infuse her vibe and personality into the brand. GT+T collaborated with Austin, TX based artist Rohitash Rao to design Dailola's fun loving labels and quirky look. Dailola is beginning to gain a following in the organic market circles especially at Schmorgasburgh in Williamsburgh.

The Dialola brand is ever expanding as a lifestyle brand beyond organic granola, but also into fashion/design and printing.
